Over the past couple months, I’ve given thought towards whether or not – and exactly how I would approach revitalizing my blog.

It’s been over 5 years since I’ve written a post, and in that time – the world of ‘online sharing’ has exploded with a plethora of platforms. Instagram, facebook, snapchat, twitter – the big hitters. Despite the ease of access to these avenues, blogging has a very distinct value in the sense of creating your own personal world. No distractions of others feeds (IG), posts (FB), or impulsive remarks (Twitter).

In my Blog 2.0, I featured my travels, wedding work, marketing ideas, and my favorite – “Case of the Fridays.” (If you’re not familiar with that project, I profiled people with unorthodox professions who’ve been successful in making livelihoods for themselves. Examples include a celebrity hairstylist, world champion paintball player, gigolo, YouTube content creator, foreign expedition guide.) Looking back, that project would be one that I’d love to evolve.

With my new focus towards portraiture, I plan on incorporating both my work as well as my personal photography within upcoming posts.

I have no idea what the trajectory will hold, but I’m excited to share the path with you.
